Training Time: 18.5 hours over 16 weeks (1.0-1.5 hours a week)
Overview: This course provides participants with a foundational understanding of asset management practices and the knowledge necessary to comply with the Province of New Brunswick's upcoming provincial reporting requirements. The course will teach asset management best practices, including building an asset inventory, conducting condition assessments, and long-term financial planning. Participants will receive several tools and templates to support their AM improvement efforts, including an AM Policy, State of the Infrastructure Report, Infrastructure Risk Assessment, 10-Year Capital Plan, and Asset Management Plan.

Overview: This course provides elected officials, local government CAOs, and RSC CEOs with an introductory-level understanding and awareness of asset management, climate adaptation, equity, and First Nations engagement in infrastructure management and planning. Participants will have opportunities to learn key concepts, and network with their peers across the Province to help deliver sustainable infrastructure systems for their communities.
